Exhibition entitled “Sacrum miejsca” which is, as the author intended, a visual complement for II Symphony c-moll by G. Mahler “Resurrection”, presents a selection of sacral photographs, mainly about the Passion. The pictures were taken in Poland but also during trips of the KUL Theatre to Peru, Belgium, Italy, France, Mexico, Spain or Ukraine.

Here’s what Leszek M±dzik himself says about photographs: “Touching the sacrum in art. is best seen in places designated to present it. Temples that I visited in various countries show not only the artistic value of the sculptures, paintings or architecture, but they stand for the power of faith that is supported by the local traditions, thus bringing us closer to the multicultural atmosphere of the places they were born in.”
