Wilhelm Genazino, born in 1943 in Mannheim is a German writer, philosopher and sociologist, a graduate of the University of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe in Frankfurt upon Men. In his youth he worked as a journalist and in the early 70s became a writer. He wrote 18 novels. The year 2004 brought him the most prestigious German literary award of Georg Büchner, which is granted by the German Academy of Language and Poetry in Darmstadt.

For its 30th Anniversary, the Logos Theatre prepared a premiere of a play written on the basis of texts by Wilhelm Genazino. “Kobold” is a character straight from German folklore, a dwarf, a spirit, a malicious home gnome watching over the underground treasures, a persona often present in contemporary literature and role playing games.

The spectacle was prepared by Robert Wichrowski — a director of feature films, documentaries and TV series, an educator and a graduate of history and political science of the University of Gdańsk, a participant of a film directing by Andrzej Wajda (1997) and £ód¼ PWSFTviT (diploma 1999, PhD 2017). He directed “Czas odwiedzin” for the Logos Theatre in 2014.
